Podcast Guest Terms and Conditions

These are the Terms and Conditions for interview guests on the podcast, “Single and Mighty” with hosts Carmel Ecker and Lindsay Carlson (herein referred to as the “Podcast”).

Permission: The Guest gives the Hosts permission to lawfully use, reproduce, edit, and publish the interview they participate in for the Podcast. This means the Hosts can share the interview without restriction in perpetuity.

Editing: The Guest understands that the episode may be edited, altered, or modified for length or clarity and waives any right to inspect or approve the podcast’s use of the interview in any media.
How the Interview Will Be Used: The Hosts have the final say in how the interview is used and promoted. They can put it on the Podcast’s website, share it on social media including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (“X”), and LinkedIn, and distribute it on platforms including but not limited to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart Radio, YouTube, and Google Podcasts.

Privacy: The Guest understands that anything they share during the interview may be made public. The Hosts are not responsible for any consequences that may arise from this.
No Payment: The Guest agrees that they are participating in the interview voluntarily and won’t receive any payment from the Hosts now or in the future, including if Hosts choose to monetize the podcast and all its content.

Release of Claims: The Guest promises not to hold the Hosts or their team responsible for consequences related to the interview. This means they won’t sue the Hosts or make legal claims against them.

Promises from the Guest: The Guest promises that they have the legal right to enter into this agreement. They also promise that they own or have permission to use everything they share during the interview and that it won’t violate anyone else’s rights.

Laws and Location: This agreement follows the laws of British Columbia, Canada. If there are any legal issues, they will be handled in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

Entire Agreement: This agreement covers everything the Hosts and Guest have agreed upon and replaces any previous agreements.

By clicking “Agree” in the Guest Intake Form, the Guest shows that they agree to and accept these Terms and Conditions.
